Synopsis
Geraniums is a short documentary exploring the displacement experiences of third-generation refugees from Elbasan, Çatalca, after the Lausanne Population Exchange. By combining personal testimonies with interviews from the Lausanne Refugees Foundation, the film turns individual memory into collective narrative. Using the geranium as a metaphor, it highlights both the fragility of exile and the resilience of re-rooting.
